The Shabby Tea Room #166

Sweet Springtime

Hello and happy mother's day to you! I hope you all had a wonderful day.
This week I am your host for The Shabby Tea Room's challenge #166.
I would like for you to create a card or project to include pink, green and white.
Also add a sewing element, it may be stitching or anything that is used when sewing.

Our inspiration photo.

This week our fabulous sponsor is Digital Paper by Janet.
If you haven't checked out her etsy you should take a few minutes
to see the gorgeous papers that see has, they are stunning!

Janet provided the Shabby DT with this beautiful design called 'Sweet Paper'.
I chose the tiny scissors as my sewing element.

Take a minute to stop by Janet's etsy, it's worth it!!!

My name is Janet, I'm Polish, live in the south of Italy and the mother of two children!!

The Shabby Tea Room #165

'Totally Textured'

Rebekah, our host this week at The Shabby Tea Room,
has provided us with this weeks Shabby challenge, look at all the
different textures of the materials in the inspiration photo.
Those gorgeous blankets make me want to curl
up with one on the sofa on a rainy day and
 read a good book!
Rebekah wants us to use dry embossing and stitching to
create added texture on our card or project.

Use your imaginations and show us your creations.
Have fun!

I made a card for a friend and wanted her to know that I was thinking
of her. Paper Sweeties sentiment, 'Sending a Hug' from 'You Are Amazing'
stamp set was the perfect little message!

I dry embossed the background then placed the printed
paper and labels that had been cut using Spellbinders dies.
I added a strip of 'breezy' material and placed the
beige lace on top, then added the flowers.

I just had to add one more card because I bought
so many new dies! I got carried away.
The sentiment is from Paper Sweeties "I'm Having
a Tea Party" stamp collection.

Paper Sweeties™ LLC is owned and illustrated by Debbie Marcinkiewicz, and offers hand drawn, high quality photopolymer acrylic stamps.  Our heartwarming images allow paper crafters to create adorable dolls with interchangeable outfits and accessories! 'Beautiful Blues'

I hope that you all have had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with
egg hunts, family, friends and thanksgiving.
This week has been tough for us.
My dear Mother-in-Law passed away last Thursday. She had not
been well for a while and we knew the day would come but it
is difficult and painful all the same. Thanks for your patience
with my absence and hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

This week our challenge at The Shabby Tea Room is 'Beautiful Blues'.
I have the pleasure of hosting The Tea Room this week and our new
challenge requirements are to create a card or project using the colors blue,
white and kraft and add a sentiment.

Our inspiration photo.

Paper Sweeties is our wonderful sponsor this week and I have
used stamps from 3 different sets this week, Banner Party

LOVELY LAYERS

Welcome to another challenge at The Shabby Tea Room! This week
Rebekah is our creative host. She has provided us with this
beautiful inspirations photo and asked that we make a
card or project using lot of layers to create dimension
while using the sketch and colours from the photo.

I can't wait to see you projects! Have fun!

Bugaboo Stamps is our wonderful sponsor this week and provided
the beautiful digital stamp, " Love Conquers All" for my
DT project. I love the challenge this week, I'm all
about Shabby, pink and girly! I used Megs Garden
papers layering the same pattern matted on
kraft cardstock then stitched around the edges.
I added flowers and die cut and lace to finish
the card. The bobble at the bottom is
a magnet that I glue to the card.

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT   for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.
