The Shabby Tea Room 148
'Elegance'
Welcome to another challenge at The Shabby Tea Room!
Last week the entries were so beautiful and I can't wait to
see what you create this week because I am the host!
I feel in love with this lovely inspiration photo and I
love to make 3D projects so the two go hand in hand.
Start creating and remember to have fun!
This week's inspiration photo....

I decided to make a cake also!
I made 3 round boxes and attached them together. Then I
placed lace, flowers, ribbon and bows around the cake.
The invitation is from Paper Sweeties clear stamps
'You're Invited' which is perfect for this project!

(I apologize for being late with this post. We are traveling and I didn't get
the post ready in time. Completely my fault!)

Oh wow Starr!!! Gorgeous cake! Love how the ribbons cascade down the cake from the flowers!! Beautiful job:)
ReplyDeleteStarr,

ReplyDeleteAmazzzzzing!!! Out of this world project, Starr! Absolutely stunning cake boxes decorated with beautiful lace and flowers!!! And, sweet invitation, too! Take care and have a great weekend, hugs!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Love the inspiration pic you chose for this weeks challenge...and I absolutley love your gorgeous creation. Sorry its taken me all week to get here!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!! I clicked on the photo thinking I might get a larger view but didn't. I would love to see this in a larger scale or have a tutorial. I've got to use this idea! My daughter has this funky ceramic birthday cake that they bring out for birthdays celebrations because most of the family prefers pie or cheese cake! I can see making this is a larger size for my birthday table, as well. When it is just my DH and I we share a cupcake or something else that we love for dessert. This would be lovely as a centerpiece on those special occasions!!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte, thanks for the kind words. If you would like a tutorial let me know how to get in touch with you and I'll send one. thanks so much!
